1. Introduction

Funnel 33, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the funnel33.com website, the Campy virtual reality, mixed reality, and augmented reality application available on the Meta Quest Store, and the Just Legal VR virtual reality legal training platform (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and allow you to delete your information when you use any of these products. Where our data practices differ between products, the relevant section below says so explicitly.

2. Products Covered by This Policy

This Privacy Policy is the policy of record for all of the following, each owned and operated by Funnel 33, LLC:

  • funnel33.com: our company website.
  • Campy: a social virtual reality, mixed reality, and augmented reality app distributed through the Meta Quest Store.
  • Just Legal VR: a virtual reality legal training platform, available at justlegalvr.com and through associated VR and mobile apps. Just Legal VR previously published its own privacy policy; this Privacy Policy now supersedes it.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Through Our Website

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways when you visit funnel33.com, including:

  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, that you voluntarily give to us when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Site.
  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed.
  • Financial Data: Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase services on the Site.

3.2 Through the Campy App

When you use Campy on the Meta Quest Store, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Display Name: When you open Campy, you type in a display name so other players in your session can identify you. Campy does not currently connect to your Meta account or receive any account information from Meta. If we add Meta account integration in the future (for example, to support friend invites), we will update this Privacy Policy before doing so.
  • Voice Communications: Campy includes real-time voice chat so you can talk with friends around the campfire. Voice audio is transmitted live between participants for the duration of a session only; it is never recorded or stored by us or by Campy.
  • Gameplay & Session Data: We collect information about your in-app activity, such as session length, which room or session you joined, and interactions with in-app objects (e.g., the campfire), in order to run and maintain multiplayer sessions.
  • Device & Diagnostic Data: We collect technical information from your headset, such as device model, operating system version, and performance or crash diagnostics, to identify and fix bugs and improve app stability.

Campy does not include in-app purchases and does not collect financial information directly. Any purchases related to Campy are processed by the Meta Quest Store and governed by Meta's own privacy policy.

3.3 Through the Just Legal VR App

Just Legal VR currently operates entirely on your device. It does not require you to create an account or log in, and it does not use cookies.

  • Microphone / Voice Data: Just Legal VR uses your device microphone for two purposes: your voice audio drives your avatar's mouth movements live during a session, and, when you turn on recording mode (a core feature of the app), your voice is recorded along with your head position and rotation and hand position and rotation, so you can play back your practice presentation afterward to review and improve your performance. Just Legal VR does not use your device camera or a TrueDepth-style sensor for any purpose. These recordings are stored locally on your device only; we do not upload them to our servers, and no one other than you can access them. Outside of recording mode, this data is used live and is not saved.

If we add an account system, cookies, or any server-side features to Just Legal VR in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before doing so.

4. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you to:

  • Provide, operate, and administer the Site, Campy, and Just Legal VR.
  • Generate a personal profile about you so that future visits to the Site are as personalized as possible.
  • Enable multiplayer social features, matchmaking, and friend invitations within Campy.
  • Run training scenarios and let you record and play back your practice presentations within Just Legal VR.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Site, Campy, and Just Legal VR.
  • Maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the performance and stability of Campy and Just Legal VR.
  • Notify you of updates to the Site, Campy, or Just Legal VR.
  • Process your transactions and send related information.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, and violations of our policies.
  • Comply with the law.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your information in the following situations:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information is necessary to comply with the law.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with parties that perform services for us, including payment processors, data analysis providers, email delivery services, spam-detection services, and customer service providers.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc.: Campy and Just Legal VR are both distributed through the Meta Quest Store and run on Meta's hardware and operating system. Baseline data collected by Meta at the platform level (such as your Meta account and purchase history with the Meta Quest Store) is governed by Meta's own privacy policy, separate from this one. Neither app currently sends its in-app data to Meta, including Campy's display name and voice data or Just Legal VR's presentation recordings.
  • Business Transfers: We may share information with business partners, affiliates, or an acquirer in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (such as when Just Legal VR became part of Funnel 33).

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Campy: Voice communications are never recorded and exist only for the duration of a live session. Campy does not have an account system; the display name you type in is used only to identify you to other players during a session.
  • Just Legal VR: Just Legal VR does not have an account system. Presentation recordings (head, hand, and voice data captured in recording mode) are stored locally on your device; you can delete them at any time within the app, and they are removed automatically if you uninstall Just Legal VR, since we do not keep a copy on our servers.

To request access to, or deletion of, any personal information we hold about you across the Site, Campy, or Just Legal VR, email us at hello@funnel33.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request," and let us know which product your request relates to. We will verify your request and delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it to comply with a legal obligation. Presentation recordings in Just Legal VR live only on your device, so please delete those directly within the app rather than by request; we don't hold a copy to delete on our end.

7. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site, Campy, and Just Legal VR are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@funnel33.com so we can delete it.
